CS+ technology combines complex surfaces on both sides of the lens to provide excellent visual correction.

Its unique front surface has continuous curvature variations. Specially designed to increase the reading areas and achieve better optical quality.

Front surface innovation

A single progressive lens has many powers; hence it has many ideal base curves, increasing in lens curvatures from top to bottom. The distance power area calls for a flatter curve, while the near zone calls for a steeper curve.

When a free-form progressive lens is processed using a spherical lens blank, the various powers must share a single base curve, one that may not be ideal for the either zone.

GO CS+ lens blanks feature a variable base curve with front surface innovation that provide the ideal curve in all viewing zones. Leading to unequalled vision at all distances.

The innovative lens blank is only the beginning. When the unique front surface is combined with a sophisticated back-side digital design, both surfaces work together to become the GO CS+ finished lens.

With variable base curves the GO CS+ lens blank improves on the traditional spherical lens blank, by offering a continuously increasing base curves that are better suited for progressive prescriptions.

GO CS+ lens designs are mathematically compensated for peripheral aberrations and include the intelligent use of the wearer’s accommodation to drastically reduced aberrations across the entire field of vision. They also incorporate strict control of mean power to practically eliminate spherical error in lateral areas of the lenses, resulting in improved lateral vision and superior image stability.

The prescription design computations are further enhanced, when desired, by a complete set of your custom fitting parameters that take into consideration the unique design of the frame and the individual preferences of the wearer. The result is a progressive lens that is comprehensively customized for every individual patient.

Easier adaptation with CS+ lenses

In a double-blind study, test wearers compared the same progressive design, one of them engineered with CS+ technology and the other one without it.

• Test wearers wore each pair of glasses for the duration of one week but were not aware of which lenses they were wearing for the entirety of the study.
• Both pairs of lenses were of identical material and base curve and mounted in the same frame.
• Wearers were surveyed about their experience with the lenses after testing them both.
